2009
I was laid off a few weeks ago and somehow it feels liberating. Yes desperate times call for desperate measures so I have called all our services like DTV and Telephone/Internet and reduced everything as much as possible. I think now, living elsewhere is quite obtainable even though our house is ready for a short sale. Many avenues have opened up for me and as long as I stay busy and motivated, not to mention keeping the kid away from the laptop, things should be groovy. We are contemplating a temporary move/visit to my grandmothers to help her out around the farmhouse for a while. I don’t know maybe for a couple months. Then we would have a better idea of our finances and could possibly entertain the idea of actually moving back to Tampa/St. Pete. That is all for now and just an FYI, i’m working on a fabulous design for this site, but only when time permits. Ciao for now!

What is twitster?
Put simply, Twitster is a PHP application that lets you display tweets on your own web site from everyone you follow in Twitter. What’s more, Twitster can filter those tweets by a hash tag (#example) giving you the ability to create a Twitter-based group or community on your own site.
- Publish your Twitter community on your own web site.
- Gather and publish tweets from the people and the topics you care about.
- Powering your site’s community with Twitter means little to no work for member participation. (Just tweet!)
Check it out! Twitster

ScribeFire Blogging for Firefox
Finally I have come accross an extension for Firefox that really makes blogging less time consuming and more automated. Even if you are a seasoned blogger or perhaps you are somewhat of a newbie, you will find this extension very helpful. When you get the urge to post to your blog, you are just a few clicks away. The hardest part (at least for me) is getting crafty with the content.
Hit the jump to see the screenshot of the extension in use. Continue reading
