David Sims is licensed as a Spec Home Builder for the greater White County area. Or maybe it’s just for the Sparta area. You know 38583. He signed an addendum in front of the lawyer that helped close our house back in NOVEMBER listing the items that still needed finishing. Mostly it was just cosmetic finishing that needed work. The bathroom was extremely not up to par for a brand new house. We had hoped that he would fix that. Either rip up all the floor tile that he used for the entire bathroom. Including the walls of the shower, and around the bathtub. Or redo the terribly thick black grout lines extending up from the tile up onto the walls. It is currently late April and this has not been fixed. He did come in and sporadically place little white tiles on a strip all around the tile directly onto the wall to cover the 1 1/2″ thick grout line. He is still not done. He also wants to come in and seal the grimy crud into the grout now since I mentioned that I thought that it needed to be sealed. It looks to me that the grout is already leaking water into the baseboard. Well I will keep ya updated with further developments. I have tons of pictures to actually show the SUBSTANDARD tile work. I just need to figure out how to place them into this blog. CHEERZ!
